Les jours défilent et nous nous rapprochons de la tant attendue convention d’avril. Après vous avoir annoncé deux actrices, il est temps de de se diversifier un peu en vous annonçant le premier dessinateur qui sera présent sur la convention : Ramon Bachs.
C’est grâce à l’association Teach, Drink and Draw de Clermont-Ferrand que cet artiste espagnol viendra présenter son travail. Né à Barcelone, il étudie à l’école spécialisée dans la bande-dessinée Joso et publie à 23 ans sa première BD en collaboration avec Josep Busquet.
Très vite remarqué, il reçoit le prix de la révélation de l’année au salon international de la bande dessinée de Barcelone en 1999. Très inspiré par diverses influences américaines, ce prix lui permet de débuter une collaboration avec l’éditeur américain Dark Horse.
Cette collaboration lui permet d’illustrer la mini-série de notre chère saga Star Wars : Infinity’s End. Sous ses crayons ont, entre autre, pris vie Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan ou encore Jango Fett.
On lui doit aussi des illustrations pour les grands éditeurs que sont Marvel et DC tels que Generation-M avec le scénariste Paul Jenkins ou encore Civil War : Frontline et World War Hulk : Frontline. Il travaille également sur des titres d’un autre héros vêtu tout de noir : Batman (Legends of the Dark Knight, City of Crime, Bruce Wayne : The Road Home). En 2016, il illustre des numéros de la série Robin : Son of Batman pour DC Comics.

So it is so much to announce the arrival of other artists, starting with Ramon Bachs.
